Why Is It That Nice Guys Finish Last?
There are quite a few reasons why a nice guys finish last and this article will uncover some of the basics. There are so many misconceptions around the whole dating thing, and being nice is one of the most common ones. It is a very common misconception for example, that you should be nice to a woman constantly in order to win her over.
Although the opposite is certainly not true, it is certainly not a good idea to be excessively nice. This makes you look weak and completely out of control in your situation. Most women like a degree of manliness in their men.
To a degree, women tend to like manly men. To assert your manliness, you do need to have a degree of power. This does not mean necessarily that you should be completely the boss of the relationship, but it does mean that you need to have control over yourself and appear confident.
It looks pitiful, but while you should not be overpowering either, you should assert some degree of power to be in control of your own destiny. This doesn’t mean to say you need to boss women around at all, but being overly enthusiastic is something that is just going to put them off.
Another reason why nice guys finish last is because there are constantly complementing women. After a time, this becomes a complete cliche. Buying flowers, constantly complimenting and automatically doing everything they want is simply going to make you into a laughing stock.
So, nice guys finish last but that doesn’t mean to say that you need to treat woman badly. It just means to say that you should start complimenting them constantly and things like this, since it sounds like a cliche and you completely lose credibility very quickly.
